About Us:
Since 2002, South Florida Center for H.O.P.E. has offered state-of-the-art hyperbaric Oxygen therapy treatments at our conveniently- located free standing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy center.
As one of the only Medicare accredited free-standing facilities, the center must abide by all the rules and regulations as-is required by a hospital facility, including, but not limited to routine maintenance checks by the makers of our Hyperbaric chambers, frequent fire marshal visits and regular visits from Medicare and AHCA representatives.
Our network of compassionate and knowledgeable physicians have diverse, extensive backgrounds and participate in each patient’s plan of care from simple daily interactions to doctor-to-doctor conferences.
Our qualified technicians are certifiably trained in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with a vast array of medical influences to care for patients of all ages and diagnoses.
The administrative staff is always available to assist families and patients with their individual needs including assistance with insurance reimbursement, scheduling conflicts and general questions about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
Clinical director, Hope Fine has served the healthcare industry for 30 years, starting her Hyperbaric career by opening a hyperbaric oxygen therapy unit in a local hospital. Later she worked for Dr. Richard Neaubauer. She is well know and highly respected in the medical community. With the knowledge she gained, she ultimately opened the South Florida Center for H.O.P.E. (Hyperbaric Oxygen Producing Environment)
Because the South Florida Center for H.O.P.E., is a free-standing facility, we have the opportunity to treat a spectrum of diagnosis including, but not limited to Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD, Multiple Sclerosis, Lyme Disease, Spinal Cord Injury, Near Drowning, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Sports Injuries, Pre and Post Cosmetic Surgery and Cancer, as well as Non-healing Wounds, Radiation Injury, and Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
In October 2009, the international hyperbaric medical association in conjunction with the WIRB (western institutional Review board) asked us to be a part in a national study, treating wounded war veterans coming home with TBI and/or PTSD.
The study, identified as N-BIRR (National Brain Injury Rescue & Recovery) is being led by Dr. Paul Harch at LSU. Presently, there are 15 centers involved in this study with the South Florida Center for HO.P.E. honored as the only hyperbaric center in South Florida.
